October 10, 2024 - Iphone 13

One of the items on my bucketlist got checked in October 2024 because the Aurora Borealis was visible so far south because of a big flare. I knew that it would be mostly viewable through a camera lens, so I had both my phone and my camera set up. I took hundreds of shots of the sky, and there was a lot of excellent material! I still have to upload the images from my Nikon, but these were taken on my Iphone 13! I've always wanted to see the lights so I feel very lucky to have these shots. There was even a point in time where some colors could be seen without a camera lens, with the naked eye! Totally unreal. I have not checked them OFF my bucket list yet only because I wish to see a full show with the naked eye, but if I never get the chance to go to Iceland or something I am still happy!
